hi, after upgrading to MACOS Sonoma 14.4 this DAC started behaving very weird, producing noise and unintelligible audio. Are you aware of this problem ? Sonoma 14.3 everything was fine.

There has been some problems in the past with MACOS updates, which has then been fixed. One thing that helps to avoid problems is to make sure only either input or output is enabled at a time, not both at the same time. Go to Sound settings and select another input device if you’re using the output. You can also try to open the Audio MIDI Setup application and adjust the sample rates, select a lower sample rate lik 44.1kHz or 48kHz (if you currently have 92kHz selected) and check if this makes any difference.
Also you can try basic troubleshooting like restarting the computer, disconnect/reconnect the DAC, try another USB port and USB cable.

Hi, I tried this on two Mac’s (an iMac and a MacBook), both running Sonoma 14.4, and they both are experiencing the same problem. So we can rule out the usb port. I will try do use another input.
