Terms & Conditions

We do our best to make sure you will have a nice experience buying from us. Please take a moment to ready through the below so that we agree on the terms. Contact us if any questions. 

1. Returns

You can return an unopened and unused product within 14 days of receipt of the item. You will have to pay return shipping cost for sending the item back to China (or to Oregon, USA and UK for smaller items). Contact us by replying to the sales confirmation email to arrange this. 

2. Warranty

We offer a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects. Note that this only covers manufacturing defects and not damage that occurred after incorrect usage, incorrect assembly or other misuse. Any modifications to the items voids the warranty, except when agreed by us.

 

DOA (dead on arrival) - please contact us within 7 days of receipt of the parcel if you can't get the item to work. We will help you troubleshoot and together determine what causes this. Often this can be solved with simple troubleshooting. If the item needs to be replaced it will have to be returned. We will cover the shipping cost in this case.

 

Problem within 1 year of receiving the item - Contact us for help/troubleshooting. If we determine that the item has a problem it will have to be sent back and repaired or replaced. In this case the customer is required to pay the return shipping. We will cover the shipping cost back for the replacement

 

Problem after 1 year of receiving the item - We can repair the item for the cost of parts.The customer has to pay all shipping costs and a $5 handling fee.

 

Problems after an unsuccessful DIY mod - We can repair the item for a small fee. The customer has to pay all shipping costs and a $5 handling fee.

 

3. Safety

Installing some of our products involves working with high voltages. The customer should take necessary precautions when working with high voltages, and read and follow the guides. All parts should be encased when used to prevent accidental touching any high voltage part. We take no responsibility for any damage that might occur from using products sold by us. 

4. Shipping

We offer several shipping options for you to chose what suits you depending on cost and delivery time. We need 1-3 days to prepare the packages for shipment, and for some shipping options it also take additional 1-3 days before it is handled by the courier. Shipping to some countries can take a long time, mainly because of the local customs and postal service are slow. 

All taxes and custom fee's have to be paid by the customer (except for Belgium Post and Royal Mail shipping options) and will normally be collected by the carrier (postal service or DHL etc). We will resend a package if lost in shipping.

5. Problems

If you believe your order is lost in shipping or if you have a problem with any item you purchased, you should contact us before filing a PayPal dispute or asking your credit card company to refund the payment. You can easily get in touch with us by responding to the sales confirmation received from us, or by using the contact us link. Include your order number if using this link.

Hifime (UK) Ltd can provide an invoice on request. Hifime (UK) Ltd is currently not VAT registered (below the UK VAT threshold) and can't provide a VAT invoice.
