Up2Stream PRO WIFI and Bluetooth 5.0 Audio Receiver/Streamer

This is a small board that receives audio over WIFI and Bluetooth. It supports a wide range of application including Spotify, Tidal, Deezer and more. It also supports Airplay, so it can be set as an output device on Mac computers or stream from iTunes and other Mac and iPhone applications. It can be used together with our Tripath range of amplifier to create a small and efficient wireless sound system, or with any amplifier with an analog audio input. It’s not really suitable to be used with headphones, as the analog audio output is not that strong. This model also has a i2s output, we will soon have a DAC available that can be connected to this i2s outpt.

This is the PRO version that in addition to the added Bluetooth input it’s very easy to set up in no time. It has a 3.5mm audio mini jack connector for the output, and power can be connected with a normal microUSB plug/cable – NOT included – but you might have one laying around, and we can also provide a cable. The unit can be powered from a USB charger (1A or more – also not included) or can also be powered from a USB port on your computer or TV – most regular USB ports will be able to supply it with enough power.

There are two antennas on the board, one for WIFI and one for Bluetooth. You can let them hang freely or you can tape it onto something for a more permanent installation.

It also has a audio input that can be used to stream the input to other rooms in a Multi room setup.

Note, only 2.4GHz WIFI is supported. 2.4GHz is the most common WIFI band, and all routers that has the shorter range 5GHz band also have additional 2.4GHz band.
